HVAC Terms and Conditions

CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION
ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL
I, the undersigned, am the owner/authorized representative of the premises at which the work mentioned above is being done. I hereby authorize UniColorado Heating & Cooling to perform accepted recommendations, and to use such labor and materials, as deemed advisable.
The above prices and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. With acceptance of this work, I am aware that I am responsible for payment for any permits, equipment and materials restocking fees and any other accrued costs for the above described job scope should I cancel the job prior to having the work performed.
This proposal may be withdrawn by UniColorado Heating & Cooling if not accepted within 30 days.


WARRANTIES & GUARANTEES
Unless otherwise stated, UniColorado Heating & Cooling will provide a 1-year quality installation guarantee on our labor, quality of workmanship and installation methods, and all materials supplied by UniColorado Heating & Cooling. Warranties and guarantees will not apply to customer supplied materials or parts, damages, or losses due to acts of nature, freezing, vandalism, theft, lack of care, cleaning or maintenance, negligence or abuse or any other circumstances reasonably outside of the control of UniColorado Heating & Cooling.

EXCLUSIONS
I understand that UniColorado Heating & Cooling has permission to cut the wall/ceiling/flooring/tile as needed & I am aware that UniColorado Heating & Cooling does not repair or pay for the above items. In addition to tile repairs, drywall repairs, UniColorado Heating & Cooling does not do any framing, painting, floor coverings, landscaping, roofing repairs, storage of property, replacement, or repairs of drop ceiling tiles, and all other unforeseen mechanical, utility or structural work existing within the work area, either public or private. Exclusions apply to all options unless otherwise stated.
All work not described above, to include but not limited to: Sprinkler System Repairs (Sprinkler system repairs will be made upon request at additional regular service repair rates upon completion of backfill and soil compaction), Landscaping repairs; to include final or “sod ready” grading, replacement of sod, grass, landscape ground cover, plastic or fabric weed barriers, rock, boulders, trees, bushes, shrubbery, plants, flowers, replacement and/or repair to fencing/retaining walls, reinstalling mailboxes, Decorative rock, patio/sidewalk paving stones or brick, new or “clean” fill dirt or top soil, Concrete removal and/or replacement (unless otherwise stated), Replacement or repair of faux finished, colored, textured, or stamped concrete, electrical work.

INSPECTIONS
When inspections are required, the customer understands that they will have to provide access and meet with inspectors on the day(s) the inspections are called for. Inspections are scheduled Monday thru Friday (Excluding Holidays) between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm with a minimum of a 24 hour notice given to the city or county inspecting authority. On the scheduled day for inspections there are no scheduled or coordinated times set by UniColorado Heating & Cooling or the city/county/state inspecting authority. UniColorado Heating & Cooling is not responsible for any plumbing, mechanical or building code violations found by an inspector that are not within the scope of work performed by UniColorado Heating & Cooling. Any and all change orders must be requested in writing and approved and authorized prior to any changes being performed. Additional permits and fees will be added to change orders when required. All optional prices are subject to change if purchased separately and/or installed at another time.

MATERIAL
Customer supplied material shall be onsite and available for installation at the appropriate phases or additional charges will apply for return trips. Additional service charges will apply for added or unscheduled return trips due to unforeseen mechanical, utility or structural work or problems that inhibit and/or postpone the continuation of the job. Payment will be required for work that has been completed if job has been postponed for unforeseen reasons. Payment will be based on the work that was started and completed up to postponement. All parts will be removed from premises and discarded unless specified herein.

TERMS
100% due upon completion of work prior to any applicable inspections unless other arrangements have been made prior to starting of the job in writing with an approved credit application. Payments, if approved, are due upon receipt from date of invoice; 2% service charge per month is charged on all past due amounts. If an overdue account is referred to collections, the customer shall pay, in addition to the past due amount, service charges and all costs of collections, including reasonable attorney’s fees. I have read the terms and conditions of this contract and agree to be bound by all the terms contained herein. I will receive a copy of this contract via email, unless I have otherwise requested a copy via US Mail. If terms aredesired, arrangements can be made prior to work being done with the accounting department. Interest charges of 1 ½% per month (18% PER ANNUM) on the unpaid balance will be made on all accounts over 30 days old
