How we compare: All comparisons are made net of rebates, meaning the final out-of-pocket cost after every applicable rebate, tax credit, and incentive is applied to both quotes. A quote that looks lower before rebates is not a lower price if your final cost is higher.
Applies to: Furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, and mini-splits from licensed, insured Denver-area contractors.
We match or exceed: Equipment quality, warranty coverage, and scope of work. Comparisons must be like for like: equivalent equipment and the same scope, including electrical, permits, code upgrades, and disposal. Items missing from a competing quote are priced in for comparison.
Quote requirements: Written, itemized, and dated within the last 30 days, showing equipment brand, model or capacity, and scope of work. Verbal quotes, online instant estimates, and quotes we cannot verify with the issuing contractor are not eligible.
Rebates & incentives: Only programs that are currently open, funded, and that you actually qualify for count toward either quote. Expired, closed, or waitlisted programs are excluded from both sides.
Excludes: Online quotes, unlicensed contractors, out-of-area properties, multi-family/new construction, water heaters, ductwork-only, builder-grade equipment, white-label or proprietary single-brand equipment, obvious pricing errors, and below-cost or liquidation pricing.
Limits: One price match per household per project. Not combinable with other UniColorado promotions or discounts unless stated.
