SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Program Description

UniColorado LLC ("UniColorado," "we," "us," or "our") operates a text messaging program for customers of our heating, cooling, and electrification services. These terms describe what messages we send, how you consent to receive them, and how you stop them at any time.

The program is used for service communication with people who have an existing or requested service relationship with us. We do not sell or rent phone numbers, and we do not send messages to numbers obtained from third-party lists.

Types of Messages

If you opt in, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Appointment confirmations: confirmation of a scheduled service or estimate appointment, including the date and arrival window.
  • Appointment reminders: reminders ahead of your scheduled appointment.
  • Technician updates: notice that your technician is on the way, has arrived, or has completed work.
  • Estimates and invoices: notice that an estimate, proposal, or invoice is ready to view, along with a secure link.
  • Rebate and paperwork follow-ups: requests for information or photos needed to complete a utility rebate application on your behalf.
  • Replies to your questions: two-way conversation with our office when you text us.

How You Opt In

You consent to receive text messages from UniColorado in any of the following ways:

  • Online forms: you submit a request, booking, or estimate form on unicolorado.com or our customer portal and check the box consenting to text messages. The box is not checked by default, and consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • Texting us first: you send a text message to a published UniColorado business number, which starts the conversation.
  • Verbal consent: you give our staff permission to text you when booking service by phone. We record that consent on your customer record.

You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and you must be 18 or older to opt in.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us. Most customers receive messages only around a scheduled appointment or an open estimate, invoice, or rebate. Conversational replies are sent as needed while we are helping you.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages will be sent to that number.

You can also opt out by calling (303) 250-1000 or emailing [email protected]. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact about your service.

To resubscribe after opting out, reply START to the same number or ask our office to re-enable messaging for you.

Getting Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance and our contact information. You can also reach us at (303) 250-1000 or [email protected] during business hours.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. UniColorado does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Privacy & Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share your phone number only with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, and only so that they can deliver those messages to you. Those providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own purposes.

For full details on what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Supported Carriers

Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliated and regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability.
