Tier 2 is what you want in Colorado. The cold climate certification means the unit maintains at least 70% of rated heating capacity at 5°F. Our top-recommended brands (Mitsubishi, Bosch, Carrier) all have models that qualify.

$2,000 Bundling Bonus
Complete a heat pump installation AND one envelope measure within six months and Efficiency Works adds $2,000 on top.

The bonus does not apply to heat pump water heaters. Total rebates + bonus cannot exceed the combined project cost.
Pre-Approval Required Over $2,500
If your total Efficiency Works incentives exceed $2,500, you must get pre-approval before work begins. Without pre-approval, your total incentive is capped at $2,500.
Most cold climate installations will exceed this. A Tier 2 ducted ($2,000) plus bundling bonus ($2,000) = $4,000. We handle the pre-approval process.
